A Chill In The Air
So, what is, “A Chill In the Air? It’s a screenplay that I (Ben) wrote awhile ago and decided to have art panels made for. That’s how I met Manthos, the other half of LnC Art Studios. We met on deviant art through a mutual friend and I hired him to do the storyboards. Go to our book donation program. Manthos is busy making the panels and I’m translating the screenplay into narration and dialogue! We have around 40-50 pages worth of panels somewhere in the process now.

The promo wallpaper is a piece that is part of our donation program and seems to be very popular. Though it appears that there are only a few slots left, we will make the canvas size larger, and/or even make a second wallpaper if need be. For information on the donation program check out the products tab.
As we moved forward, we decided that we would also make it into a two part graphic novel, which is going to rock. While working on all of these things we decided to expand, create this site, and do other things too.

The t-shirt available for order now is a promotional piece for all projects that we have that are related to my screenplay and the upcoming two part graphic novel (release date undetermined). We wanted something to help us gain interest in the project while giving back to the many people that have expressed interest.

Our hope is that once the first graphic novel is out, we’ll gain enough interest to make it into a movie. It could happen!

One final note - there is no release date for the first book yet. However, it WILL be getting printed and the cost will be comparable to existing graphic novels, possibly a little lower, and price depending on how much color we use. Some pages will be full color, but some pages may only have shades of color to give dramatic effect and enhance the emotional feel. The are hoping to have the graphic novel out by Summer or Fall 2010.
